A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which comprises a support and provided thereon, a silver halide emulsion layer containing a crown ether having a 18-membered ring condensed with at least one aromatic ring and silver halide grains having a (100) face and satisfying the following inequality:15.ltoreq.Kwherein K is defined to be (intensity of a diffraction line attributed to a (200) face)/(intensity of a diffraction line attributed to a (222) face).
