The invention pertains to isoxazolecarboxamides of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, phenyl or unsubstituted or substituted benzyl,R.sup.2 is hydrogen or alkyl andR.sup.3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, phenyl or unsubstituted or substituted benzyl,and the plant-tolerated salts of those compounds in which R.sup.2 is hydrogen, their preparation and their use.
