Objects can be introduced into the interior space of the incubator with both hands simultaneously, without the climate within the hood (4) being compromised in an unacceptable manner. This is achieved by the access openings being designed as areas passing over into each other in the area of the second access areas (14), as a result of which a contiguous access opening (8) is formed in the hood (4).
