A transmission cable (8) is connected to the end of an arm (15), beginning at which this component is actuated in a direction perpendicular to two orthogonal secant swivel pins (6, 7) by a return-motion lever (19) pivoting on a pin (20) lying in the same plane as the two secant pins (6, 7), in such a way that the transmission component (8) is placed at a desired distance spaced apart from the operating lever (5) and in proximity to the other transmission component (9). The invention is used in the automotive industry.
