Phenylcarbamates of the formula I where: R1 is C1-C4-alkyl; R2 is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl and C1-C4-alkoxy; m is 0, 1 or 2, where the radicals R2 may be different if m is 2; R3 is hydrogen, cyano, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl; R4, R5 and R6 are each as defined in claim 1, and salts thereof, a process and intermediates for preparing these compounds and compositions comprising them for controlling animal pests and harmful fungi are described.
