A tin-borophosphate glass of the present invention has main components of SnO, B2O3, and P2O5, consists essentially of, by mole % representation, 30-70% SnO, 5-30% B2O3, and 24-45% (24% exclusive) P2O5, and satisfies a condition of B2O3/P2O5≧0.20 by mole ratio.
