Abstract:

A metal strip, more particularly a metal strip for producing vibration damping moldings, is provided with a layer of adhesive viscoelastic plastics and permits coiling and comprises an anti-adhesive film-type coating. In a method of producing a metal strip, the metal strip is preferably degreased, preferably stretched, possibly pretreated and coated one-sided with an adhesive viscoelastic plastics. In addition, an anti-adhesive film is applied to the metal strip.
