According to the detection by the print medium detection section, the second print medium feed member transports the print medium by a first predetermined distance in the feed direction, then, the first print medium feed members transport the print medium in the feed direction by a second predetermined distance in the feed direction, and then transport the print medium by a third predetermined distance in a backward direction opposite to the feed direction.
