In a pneumatic tire where a number of blocks which are separated by a number of grooves are formed on tread surface, these grooves comprise main grooves that extend along the direction around the tire, or across the direction around the tire, sub-grooves that extend so as to connect to these main grooves, a pair of first raised bottom portions formed in the vicinity of the two ends of each portion of sub-groove which separates blocks, and at least one second raised bottom portion that is formed between each pair of the first raised bottom portions.
