The present invention relates to a ruthenium complex, represented by the following formula (I): RuLL′X2 (I) wherein L, L′ and X are defined the same as the specification. The ruthenium complex of the present invention is suitable for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) and has good photoelectric characteristics.
