The pipe connecting device (10) further comprises a first receiving portion (18), which is constituted by two limbs (20, 22) extending from the bridge portion (16) in a first direction, and which is adapted to receive an edge portion (38) of a first pipeline portion (12) of the aircraft pipeline system, and a second receiving portion (24), which is constituted by two limbs (26, 28) extending from the bridge portion (16) in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and which is adapted to receive an edge portion (40) of a second pipeline portion (14) of the aircraft pipeline system.
