The system includes a measurement adapter for measuring an electrical property of the first electrical connection. The measurement adapter is interposed within the first electrical connection between the power supply and the component. The measurement adapter is configured to draw power from a second electrical connection that is different from the first electrical connection. The measurement adapter includes a sensor for measuring the electrical property of the first electrical connection.
