The stiffening element further comprises a plurality of welded portions. The welded portions adjacent each other are separated by a distance between about 10 mm and about 100 mm. A method of producing a golf club head comprises identifying a plurality of high-deflection regions having a plurality of ranges and providing a stiffening element, at least in part coupled with the plurality of high-deflection regions. The stiffening element comprises a plurality of heights and/or widths corresponding to the plurality of deflection ranges. At least one of the plurality of heights and/or widths is different from at least another of the plurality of heights and/or widths.
