In some embodiments, a cigarette package can comprise a tray, a cover adapted to slide on the tray between a closed position and an open position, and a cigarette holder coupled to a first wall of the tray and adapted to move between a first position and a second position as the cover slides on the tray. In some embodiments, a consumer can operate a cigarette package of the present application with one hand to dispense at least one cigarette.
