It is noted that in a case that a touch input is continued for equal to or more than a predetermined time period after the touch-on, in a case that a touch input is present until the touch-off in an area except for the area corresponding to the item pointed at a start of touch, or in a case that a touch input is present until the touch-off in an area at a predetermined distance away from the position instructed at a start of touch, the process corresponding to the selected item is not executed.
