A spatial optical modulator includes a plurality of cells configured to switch on or off in synchronization with a vertical scanning time of the display panel, wherein each of the plurality of cells is changed to a transparent or opaque state. The display panel sequentially displays an even field including even sequence data of a left eye image and a right eye image and an odd field including odd sequence data of the left eye image and the right eye image.
