Abstract:
The invention concerns a paper comprising polypyridobisimidazole fibers, where the apparent density of the paper is from 0.1 to 0.5 g/cm3 and the tensile strength of the paper in N/cm is at least 0.00057X*Y, where X is the volume portion of polypyridobisimidazole in the total solids of the paper in % and Y is basis weight of the paper in g/m2.
