It relies on the concept of at least one of an attenuation of input signals in each sub-band for signals in such a manner that all desired (10) signals are attenuated less than noise or interfering source signals, and/or an amplification of input signals in each sub-band for source signals in such a manner that all desired (10) signals are amplified, and that they are amplified more than the noise and interfering signals.
