The restore control unit is provided with a function for suspending the restoration processing. A first value indicating the usage condition of the journal storage area in the second storage system is obtained, and the restore control unit suspends the restoration processing in accordance with the obtained first value. The storage device control unit then executes power saving on a storage device relating to the secondary logical volume.
