The path-controlled window lifter includes a driver which is connected with a window pane of the motor vehicle and can be driven by means of a drive mechanism for adjusting the window pane, and a base plate mounted in the motor vehicle and composed of a carrier part and a reinforcement part, on which at least two guide paths are formed for guiding the driver and for adjusting the driver along an adjustment path formed by the guide paths. The carrier part and the reinforcement part are arranged at a distance from each other, but connected to each other at defined areas.
