The zoom lens includes an aperture stop disposed between a lens nearest to an image side in the first negative lens unit and a lens nearest to the image side in the first positive lens unit, and a light-amount reducing filter made of a resin material which is disposed on the image side of the lens nearest to the image side in the first positive lens unit, and which can be inserted in an optical path and withdrawn from the optical path. The zoom lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions.
