A storage system (10) for storing a plurality of single-serve-beverage cartridges (30). The system 10 includes a drawer (40) with compartment lanes (50) adapted to allow a plurality of the cartridges to be single-file situated therein. A slide (80) can be used to move the drawer (40) between a closed position and an opened position.
