An object is to provide a peel tester that continuously detects the characteristics of an adhesive tape from the moment an impact is applied to an adherend until the adherend is peeled, and a new method for evaluating the impact peel characteristics of an adhesive tape, which enables quantitative evaluation for the impact peel characteristics by using the test result obtained by the peel tester.
