The monitoring camera includes: a data receiving unit receiving a signal from a terminal; an image acquiring unit having a zoom lens and an imaging device generating first image data of an original image, and further, generates second image data of a user-selected region by performing at least one of zooming, panning and tilting based on control data; a data transmitting unit transmitting the first image data and the second image data generated by the imaging device to the terminal; a control unit including at least one of a zoom control unit controlling the zoom lens according to a zoom value, a pan control unit panning the image acquiring unit according to a pan value and a tilt control unit tilting the image acquiring unit according to a tilt value; a memory storing the control data.
