A system and method of receiving a radio broadcast and simulcast of media content, including: receiving a digital radio broadcast comprising digital radio content over a terrestrial radio broadcast spectrum; receiving media content separately over a multicast network; time synchronizing the media content to the digital radio broadcast; and presenting the time synchronized media content and the digital radio content for playback by a client device.
