The image processing device includes a storage section adapted to store a spectral reflectivity of the screen, a designation section adapted to designate a type of an outside light in an installation environment of the screen, a correction light determination section adapted to determine a correction light using a spectral distribution of the reflected light obtained based on the spectral reflectivity and a spectral distribution of the outside light, and a color correction section adapted to generate the image data using the original data and data of a spectral distribution of the correction light.
