A first section has a higher saturation polarization JS than an adjacent second section, the second section having a minimum saturation polarization JS of 0.1 T to 1.3 T and/or a maximum relative permeability μr of 2 to 150. The composite component is suitable for use in electromagnetic valves, e.g., in fuel injectors of internal combustion engines.
