The present invention relates to a method for providing information in a cellular wireless communication system, the method comprises: detecting a radio link failure (RLF) for a mobile station while connected to a first cell; re-establishing the connection in a second cell; and providing information about said radio link failure (RLF) only to cells supporting the same radio access technology (RAT) as said first cell and/or a third cell, wherein said third cell is the cell to which said mobile station was connected before said first cell.
