The disclosed subject matter relates to a method for managing display of a window. In certain aspects, the method includes presenting a window in a display area, wherein the window comprises a control icon, receiving a first input indicating a selection of the control icon and presenting a plurality of selectable options associated with the control icon, wherein each of the plurality of selectable options correspond with one of an up direction, a down direction, a left direction or a right direction. In certain aspects, the method further includes receiving a second input indicating a selection of a first one of the plurality of selectable options and adjusting a size of the window in response to the second input based on a direction associated with the first one of the plurality of selectable options.
