The controller can perform recording head recovery operation including a residual ink sticking step of letting residual ink at the tip of the wiper stick to a first position, and a wiping step of, after the residual ink sticking step, moving the wiper across an ink ejection surface from a second position, which is a position opposite from the nozzle region with respect to the first position, in a first direction toward the nozzle region to wipe off the residual ink along with purged ink.
