A machine-to-machine (M2M) device for receiving persistent scheduling information in a wireless communication system includes a receiver configured to receive, from a BS, a message comprising allocation period information including a persistent allocation period for the M2M device, wherein the message further comprises de-allocation information that indicates whether the de-allocation corresponds to a permanent de-allocation or one-time de-allocation when the allocation period information indicates a de-allocation, and wherein the message does not comprise information about HARQ feedback allocation when the de-allocation information indicates the one-time de-allocation.
