The light source emits an illumination beam, and the light conversion unit converts the illumination beam into a plurality of color beams with different colors. The light source control module includes a light sensing unit and a control unit. The light sensing unit senses light intensities of the color beams, and the control unit determines whether to turn off the light source according to at least one of a light intensity proportion of the color beams and a sum of the light intensities of the color beams. The optical engine module receives the color beams to generate an image beam.
