A level difference is formed by a concave portion on a sliding surface of terminal portions of the male terminal in a thickness direction of the plate-shaped male terminal. The level difference is made at a plurality of positions to form concavo-convex portions. The sliding surface corresponds to an area with which a contact point of the female terminal comes into sliding contact, and oxidized films formed on the surfaces of the terminal portions can be removed and/or scraped by the concavo-convex portions.
