In one aspect, the touch panel includes a substrate, at least one first signal line formed over the substrate and extending in a first direction, and at least one second signal line formed over the substrate and extending in a second direction that crosses the first direction. A plurality of identification patterns are formed in areas corresponding to at least one of the first and second signal lines.
