The mobile terminal includes a camera configured to photograph an external environment, a display unit configured to display an image captured by the camera, and a control unit configured to extract, from the image, at least one object corresponding to a face in the external environment and control the display unit to correct the image by modifying a certain region of the at least one object, based on a distance from a center of the image to the at least one object.
