A control valve capable of reducing vibration of a housing member, and a variable-displacement compressor provided with this control valve, are provided. A control valve 300 includes: a valve unit 310 having a valve body 304 and a movable iron core 308; a housing member 312 which is formed into a bottomed tubular shape and slidably houses the movable iron core 308; and a coil unit 313 having a drive coil portion 313A housed in a solenoid housing 311 to be disposed around the housing member 312, and an end portion member 313B formed to cover a tube bottom side end portion 312e. The control valve drives and controls the valve unit 310 by an electromagnetic force thereby adjusting an opening degree of the valve body 304. A first damping member 314 is disposed between a bottom wall 312b of the housing member 312 and the end portion member 313B.
