The display apparatus includes a first substrate with a plurality of organic electroluminescence devices, a second substrate with a color filter, the second substrate facing the first substrate, and an adhesive layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate so as to cover the plurality of organic electroluminescence devices, the adhesive layer being made of a material selected from the group consisting of a phenol resin, a melanin resin, an unsaturated polyester resin, an epoxy resin, a silicon resin and a polyurethane resin.
