The carrier body includes two transparent covers for closing the carrier body and preferably includes a casing body which is preferably in the form of a circular ring. An outside wall of the level device body has a curved region with a curvature in the longitudinal direction relative to the longitudinal axis of the cavity, by which a magnifying glass effect can be achieved when viewing a marker body which can be arranged in the cavity.
