The sidewall is on the base substrate and defines the unit pixel area. The pixel electrode is in the unit pixel area. The hydrophobic insulating layer is on the sidewall and the pixel electrode. The light blocking layer is on the hydrophobic insulating layer and overlaps the sidewall.
