When executed, the instructions may cause a portable computing device to activate a data saving feature in response to determining that the portable computing device is in a limited data environment. The instructions may be configured to cause the portable computing device to at least determine that the portable computing device is in the limited data environment, and based on the determining that the portable computing device is in the limited data environment, prompt a user to activate the data saving feature.
