A first position of a terminal point of a sliding trail and a second position of a click action are obtained on a defined plane of the touch module. There is a time interval between the times of obtaining the first position and the second position. On the defined plane, the first position is utilized as an origin to define a plurality of quadrants for determining a relative distance between the first position and the second position and for determining which quadrant the second position is located. According to the relative distance, the quadrant where the second position is located, and the time interval, it is determined whether to execute a specific function.
