An image is displayed by, light control using an electric field generated between the plural pixel electrodes and the plural common electrodes. The presence or absence of touch is detected by a difference in capacitance due to the presence or absence of a material interrupting the electric field generated between one of the detection electrodes and one of the common electrodes. Each of the detection electrodes includes a through hole.
