The method includes, at a mobile terminal, displaying a screen for selecting whether or not to reset the mobile terminal, if a connection request is received from a second terminal while the mobile terminal interworks with a first terminal, at the mobile terminal, generating first backup data including information about one or more execution files corresponding to one or more functions linked to the first terminal, if resetting of the mobile terminal has been selected on the screen, and at the mobile terminal, transmitting the first backup data to the first terminal, and performing resetting.
