A second substrate includes first and second sub-common electrodes arranged on both sides sandwiching the sub-pixel electrode, a first main common electrode connected with the first sub-common electrode and extending along the second direction opposite to the extending direction of the first main pixel electrode on one end side of the sub-pixel electrode, and a second main common electrode connected with the second sub-common electrode and extending along the second direction opposite to the extending direction of the second main pixel electrode on the other end side of the sub-pixel electrode.
