The glove box for an automobile includes a glove box door which is open/closed; a first lock rod including an end protruding to a side of the glove box door in the glove box door to lock the side of the glove box door; and a second lock rod including an end protruding to an opposite side of the glove box door in the glove box door to lock the opposite side of the glove box door.
