An electronic device includes a wireless communication module; a display; a memory; and a processor functionally connected to the wireless communication module, the display, and the memory, wherein the processor displays a guide interface for a content, determines a download or execution of the content based on a user input made using the guide interface, receives a demo content from an external device and displays the demo content in response to the execution of the content, and downloads the content from the external device in response to the download of the content.
