The inorganic layer includes a first layer, a second layer on the first layer, and one or more first particles between the first and second layers. A method of manufacturing a display device includes forming a display unit on a substrate and sealing the display unit from external moisture or oxygen by forming an encapsulating unit. The forming of the encapsulating unit includes forming an inorganic layer. The forming of the inorganic layer includes forming a first layer, forming one or more first particles on an upper surface of the first layer, and forming a second layer on the first layer and the first particles.
