The transparent handle includes an axial cavity which retains an elongate, flat panel, non-transparent, circuit board with circuitry for sensing, measurement and digital display of direct current voltage as well as simultaneously sensing and visually indicating polarity of a contact to which leads extending from the tool may be attached.
