For example, a communications system improves live video streams for a content producer broadcasting a live video stream as well as other users viewing the live video stream. In particular, the communications system employs themed experiences that guide the content producer through the process of creating and sharing a quality customized live video stream. In addition, the communications system provides one or more digital enhancements to a live video stream based on engagement signals (e.g., reactions) from viewers of the live video stream.
