Interconnecting wall panels (10) fastened to support bars (11), wherein the support bars (11) include a series of hooks (15) and detents (16), whereby a recurving portion (23) of the panel (10) can be pushed into the recess behind a hook (15) and held there by engagement of a panel edge (25) with the detent (16). Successive wall panels (10) may be mounted from top to bottom on support bars (11) affixed to a wall. Hooked members may be inserted into the channel formed between two adjacent wall panels (10) projecting therefrom for suspending articles such as shelving.
